My good friend JJ Martin (interviewed here for our Women We Love series), founder of the lifestyle brand La DoubleJ, came to NYC last week to launch her tableware and Piccola J collections at Bergdorf Goodman! It brought me great joy to see how many people came out to celebrate JJ and her Milanese chicness in America.
La DoubleJ is known for it’s modern, vintage styles and has expanded into womenswear, a men’s shirt, a tableware line, La DoubleJ Housewives, and Piccolo La Double J; her line for young girls which just debuted at Bergdorf Goodman’s pop-up.
In celebration of her pop-up I co-hosted a dinner for J.J. with our mutual friend Shirin von Wulffen, co-founder of Bastide. New to the Bergdorf boutique are several pieces of Piccola La Double J in a fine, lightweight terrycloth and girl’s dresses —just in time for mommy-and-me Mother’s Day dressing.
For the opening event I wore the La DoubleJ Editions One Love dress, other color options available, and paired it with my signature leopard coat.
